Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!
I wanted to wear these jeans one last time before putting it away for the the season. Previously worn with a black sweater here.
Are you ready to put away your fall/winter wardrobe?
Jeans: 7FAM Shirt: Ralph Lauren Scarf: Burberry Bag: LV Boots: Joan & David
Hubby’s thought on these jeans…..”flower power” from the 60’s. I kinda see it. 😆
😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉 😉
Check out these adorable photos! The photographer did a great job of matching up the kids to dogs. Just too cute!!
A Friend is a Treasure
A friend is someone we turn to
when our spirits need a lift,

A friend is someone we treasure
for our friendship is a gift.
A friend is someone who fills our lives
with beauty, joy, and grace
And makes the world we live in
a better and happier place.

Jeannie
love it! Those boots are awesome on you!
you are such an interesting person
Sunshine to photograph those jeans before you put them away for the season! How perfect is that.
I know! 🙂 I was thankful for the beautiful weather last weekend.
You look ready for spring! Love your outfit, especially the floral skinny jeans – you have the figure for it!!
Aww…. Thanks, Carmen!
I AM ready for spring!!
You look gorgeous! Love the jeans.
Thanks, Janise! 🙂
I am so ready to put away the winter wardrobe (and I’ve only been home in the cold for a month!) It is 14-degrees in the Chicago area right now, but I am definitely dreaming of spring.
Love your look, Jeannie! Those jeans are adorable! And the doggies? They really touched my heart. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Mary!
The Windy City of Chicago! We got a small taste of Chicago yesterday! Brrrr
Have a beautiful and warmer weekend!
Jeannie! Another beautiful look, and another fun post. It’s always so much fun to visit….now if you could only get rid of this cold and wind, what gives with this weather!!!!
I know, right? It’s SO windy and cold right now. What happened to first day of spring? More rain forecast for this weekend, too. 😦
You should have stayed at the beach for a little longer!
That a chic look! Love the bag!
Thank you, ladies!! 🙂
What can I say?? Yet another perfect combination. Also had a look at the trousers with the black sweater: just as nice.
Really, you cannot do anything wrong I think.
Awww…very sweet Greetje! Thank you!
you are so fantastically chic!
Thank you, Ariane!
I enjoyed your photos from SF. Glad your trip was a good one!
You are so efforless chic every time.

I’m blessed to be surrounded by God’s beauty! 🙂
Looks so great with that neutral top ! I need to find a top like that!
Thank you, Peggy!
Ralph Lauren…yep! 🙂
Hello, neighbor!
I was just looking at Sabine’s patterned jeans and then I come over and see your gorgeous patterned jeans. Before you know it, the two of you are going to have me running out and paying retail for a pair!
I love how elegant and chic this outfit is. It’s the kind of effortless style that I equate with the French. Tres belle!
Merci beaucoup, Lady Diane!
I know! I saw Sabine in her fabulous printed pants.
Do go get you a pair but don’t pay retail cuz if they’re not on sale, they will be soon! Then you can buy two!! 😀
The print mix you’ve done with the scarf and jeans is nothing short of James Bond-ian sneaky and so smooth. Defines effortless. Smarty pants! Can’t wait to see what you do with spring and summer prints!
As always, love the pups and kids. You little softy, you.
LOL! Jan, you crack me UP!! 😆
I SO look forward to your comments!! Thank you SOOO much! ❤
The scarf was the perfect finishing touch.
Paula
Thank you, Paula! 🙂

Thanks, Brett!
I think our weather’s quite similar. We had a beautiful weekend, too! Today? Rain storm!!
Yes! So ready to put those heavy clothes away. Just went shopping today with my daughter. I bought some polka dot jeans and a white sweater. Can’t wait to wear them!
Yay, Katherine!
Polka dot jeans?!! Love it! I’m looking for a pair right now! It will look GREAT with a white sweater!
I’d love to see them on you! 🙂
Fantastic printed trousers!
I’d love to lock up my coats, boots and gloves… unfortunately it is snowing again, no hint of spring yet…
Annette
Lady of Style
Thanks, Annette!
Sorry to hear you’re getting more snow. At least you had a wonderful weekend getaway!!
Hello Jeannie,
again you are wearing such a wonderful jeans. I love the floral pattern and I love how you mixed it with the bag and the scarf.
Your nice pics remind me to my daughter, when she was a baby she loves to hug my parents golden retriever. And the dog loves that too..
Have a wonderful week Jeannie!
Thank you, Sabine!
I think we were on the same wavelength this week! 🙂
There’s nothing more precious than kids and puppies. Glad the pics reminded you of your daughter! Good memories, right?!
I love the rich colours and the floral print! Bag and boots are gorgeous too!
Thanks, dear!! 🙂
Love these jeans and I’m glad you did one more wearing of them before putting them away. I have a few more weeks of up and down temps before I do the same. Your hubby has a fun sense of humor. I like that he names your outfits.
x Laura
Hi Laura!
Leave it to hubby! 😀 He’s got a dry sense of humor, but I’m not complaining…..his comments help me come up with titles for my posts. haha
Leave me some snow! 😉
Snowing this weekend 🙂 Get your skis ready.
We don’t leave till March 30th…hoping!
Hi Jeannie 🙂
I really love your whole outfit. You know how to combine different patterns to create a nice look – Not so many people can do it. Your scarf and your pants matches perfectly well! Love love that.
About putting away the winter wardrobe… Believe it or not: it has been pretty cold lately in Florida… and for the first time in many years, I have been wearing on a regular basis some of my beloved sweaters I couldn’t wear anymore. Cold weather in Florida is unusual and fun!!!
xoxo
Anne Touraine (Playing with Scarves)
Anne, you’re so wonderful! Thank you!
It’s funny how you find cooler weather to be fun! I guess if I lived in the Sunshine State, I’d miss the boots and sweaters, too?!
Nah, I’d still take the shorts and sandals any day!! 🙂
Great outfit–as always!! I wish I could put away my winter wardrobe, but alas, it was snowing on Saturday. I’m so ready for spring things!!
Thanks, Susan!
So sorry to hear about more snow!! I’m actually going out West in a few weeks….right into snow! Am I asking for it or what??
Should have booked a trip to the beach….what was I thinking? 😉
Beautiful floral jeans and love that 70s vibe! My husband would call it a curtain.. he’s hopeless!
GREETINGS FROM DUBAI!

Haha. Men….
Thank you, Mrs C! Have a great week!
You always look like a million dollars!
Merci, Susan! Like wise! 🙂
You’re ready to put your winter warmers away, and I’m getting ready to pull them out! Just started following (via 40+Style), so going back through your winter outfits for inspiration.
Hello Robyn!
I’m sure you’re ready for fall just as much as I’m ready for spring?!
Thank you for visiting and the follow! 🙂
Nothing wrong with a bit of Jimmy Hendrix inspiring the wardrobe I say! Love the flowery jeans – I’m really into flowery print trousers at the moment. LOVE your boots too!
Thank you, V!
Jimmy & flowers….gotta love’m! 🙂
Trousers are precious, with white and the black. Stamping is wonderful. I really like your scarf is cute.
Thank you, Josep!
I appreciate you!! 🙂
Yes, I am so ready to put away my winter clothes, but I need to keep them around for a while still. You look lovely, and my favorite part of the outfit is your scarf! Have a great week!
Thank you! Hope you have a wonderful week, too!
Jeannie, I am so ready to put my winter wardrobe away. I just got back from Maui last night and decided that no matter how cold it is outside, I am NOT putting them on. (Probably a good thing I have some warm spring blazers and jackets). It’s a good thing you wore your floral jeans one more time because they look so dang good on you. I can’t tell you how many time I’ve stood in the dressing room with floral jeans on and then not purchased them. They definitely didn’t look as good on me. I’m thinking you simply need to go buy a pair for spring and summer since you look so fabulous in them.
Oh wow! You just got back? I hope you had a wonderful time! Well, how could you not?? Hawaii? Yep, I’m sure you did!
You and I should both go pick some up for spring/summer! Flower Power!! 😆
You look lovely, very flattering indeed! While you are welcoming spring, we are getting ready for fall, or autumn like we prefer to call this transitional period in Cape Town. I really admire your flair and ability to always look so effortlessly chic!
FF
Thank you so much for your sweet words, Nicolene!
Here we are at opposite side of the world but sharing our mutual love for everything pretty! What an incredible time we’re living in. 😉
As always you look so beautiful and elegant. Love those floral jeans. And the photos of kids/dogs are so cute, thanks for sharing them.
Hello Olga!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the photos.
Your blog look so pretty in this, and very unique!
Very sweet, thank you!
The green from the scarf bringing out the green in the flower pants is so pretty. And I just love a button down blouse.
You look so pretty in this, Jeannie. Its very unique…love the gorgeous color combination.
Hi Lisa! Thank you, dear!
Have a great week!
I’m a first timer here…really lovin’ your entire look, and the jeans are brilliant! Yes, the heavy sweaters and boots made a trip to the shed today, so a few sandals can now accompany my freshly painted toenails!
Hi and welcome!
Thanks for dropping by and for your wonderful comment!
Haha, I’m ready for sandals, too! I’d better get my feet ready, too? 😉
You look marvelous in your “flower power” jeans! I’ve already packed away the fall/winter clothes and with temps in the 90s today, we’re wearing summer clothes. With a bit of luck, we’ll have a few more days of spring before the 100+ temps of summer begin here in AZ.
Heather from Friendship, Life and Style
Thank you, Heather!
Really? In the 90’s? Wow!
I’ll be visiting Scottsdale in July… guess I’d better be ready for 100+ temps?? Whoa!
Jeannie – you rocked these floral jeans! I think you could still wear them in the spring maybe with a brighter color top and wedges? Have a great week!
Alice
http://www.happinessatmidlife.com
Thank you, Alice!
I suppose I could….I feel like the colors are too rich for spring but a bright or a white top might work. I may try it. 🙂
Oh Jeannie, I am SO ready to put away my fall/winter clothes! Can’t believe I wore boots again today. Your jeans are really cute. This floral trend is really great. I love how you paired them with the layered solids. And your babies and furry friends made me smile. 🙂
Thank you, Alison!
Don’t put away your boots yet!
They’ll look great with dresses & skirts!
That scarf is so yummy with the boots and bag and your hubby is so funny with his fashion commentary! I love reading it! 🙂
Thanks, Gabriala!
Yes, he tends to just blurt out whatever comes to his mind….men!
When I saw your thumbnail at Patti’s, all I could think was, “I want that scarf!” Now I want the jeans, the bag, the shoes, the shirt, umm, let’s see, anything else? I guess that’s enough! XXOO
Thank you, Jean!
You’re more than welcome to any of them. 😉
I always love your outfits and this one is no exception! I am looking for some boyfriend jeans and wondered if you have any advice for me. I lean a bit toward being a pear, so the legs can’t be too tight. Thanks so much!
Hi Susan!
My favorite brands for jeans are 7 For All Mankind and Joe’s Jeans b/c I know the fit very well. I have BF jeans in both brands and love them both. I also know that Gap BF jeans are very popular with lot of bloggers. Chose a relaxed fit instead of a skinny fit. Ann Taylor’s curvy fit jeans are also great for gals with hourglass shape. I hope this helps! 🙂
Yes, I am ready to put away the winter wear but we are supposed to have a high of 20F on Wednesday! I will probably be wearing cashmere until June!! : )
Oh, not good. Gosh, I’m not sure I could live in such a cold climate. The older I get, the less tolerable I am to cold. I already have cold hands and feet…..they may fall off if I lived in your neck of woods! 😀
I love this flower powered jean. I would wear them all summer but with a skinny haf naked kind of camisole. And sandals so thin they look like cobwebs.
Thanks, Bella!
“Haf naked kind of camisole?” Haha, I need one of those! Sounds sexy! 😉
You look great, Jeannie! We didn’t have a transition this year – we just went directly to shorts and sleeveless on Saturday! I guess Spring is here! 🙂
Thank you, Patricia!
Haha, shorts already?!! I’m ready!!
I’m definintely ready to start transitioning to the spring wardrobe. It was in the mid 80’s the last two days here! I love the scarf with the Ralph Lauren blouse. It looks great with the pants. Great outfit and you wear it well as usual!! Happy St. Pat’s Day!
Thanks, Becky!
Mid 80’s!! Nice! 🙂
We had a beautiful sunny weekend, too.
Wishing you a great week! God bless!
Love the jeans..I need a pair! Happy St. Patrick’s Day.
Thanks Mary!
Now go get you a pair! 😉
Have a beautiful week!
The kids and dogs are adorable. I’d want to wear those pants as much as possible too. They are gorgeous!
Thank you, déjà pseu!
Yes, they’re about the cutest photos! Glad you like!
Honestly, I basically wear the same thing year around except my winter coat! But this year I’m gonna try to dress with more variety ;p. Those pants with those shoes = awesome! You have such great style : )
Thank you, Bre!
I’m glad to hear you might try more variety this year. Your’re so young…..just have fun with your clothes! 🙂
Im so feeling this look for summer too with a crisp white shirt and capri style printed jeans! another totally chic look, Jeannie! And I am sooooo over my winter clothes!!!!
Paula, I know you’re ready for spring and bathing suits!! 😀
You know, I thought about wearing them thru spring, but the colors are so deep & rich…..a white t-shirt and sandals might work?!
Oh and the boots. How could I forget the boots? Sexy.
Haha Thanks, Mandy!
Yes, the shoes….<3 😉
Like all of this – pants, bag, scarf, blouse. Looks great!!!
Great jeans! You’ll love seeing them again in six months : > Great look, head to toe, and thanks for sharing with Visible Monday.
Thanks, Patti!
Haha, yes. As fast as time’s flying by, it won’t be too long till I pull them out for a spin again. 🙂
The pants are gorgeous, but don’t be sad…just think of how much fun it will be to re-discover them next fall!! have a great week!!!
Thank you, Pam!
True…I hope printed jeans will still be in style this fall! 😉
Wishing you a great week as well!
Love those jeans – and yes, I see the bohemian influence but they look more expensive and stylish than their hippie ancestors!
I’m ready to put away my winter clothes. Of course, the minute I do it’ll start snowing LOL.
Spashionista (Alicia)
Yes! With the fickle weather we’ve been having, I would not be surprised if we get a snowstorm of the century as soon as we pack away our coats….let’s hope NOT!
Have a super week, Alicia!
I love your dress sense. I too am in my 50’s, & try to take care of the way I dress & look. Thank you for sharing your fabulous style. God Bless you 🙂
Hi Linda!
Thank you so much for your wonderful comment!
We maybe in our 50’s, but it doesn’t mean we should give up on looking our best, right? 🙂
Have a beautiful week, and God bless you!!
Love the photos of the kids and their pups! Yes.. they do remind me of the 60’s/70’s:) They look great on you and I LOVE the scarf.. very pretty!
xxleslie
Thank you, Leslie!
I know! Puppies and Kiddos….what could be better?!!
