iPad & Gray Suede

Gray is the color of intellect, knowledge, and wisdom.

I guess this is perfect since I’m holding an iPad looking all intelligent. 😆

The reason I have the iPad is so I that can review the photos that hubby just took. He’s using a SD memory card (Eye-Fi card) that transmits photos using a wireless router directly to the iPad using ShutterSnitch software for immediate review.  Haha, did you get that?  Pretty cool! Eh?  Info courtesy of geeky hubby.

IMG_8732It doesn’t make me look any better but it’s still cool. 🙂

Now, for this jacket….I love the cut and the color but it’s a tough piece to work with.  I don’t care for this outfit at all but it’s all I got this week.

Hubby and I have helped daughter move into a new place Friday.  This is how I feel today.  And all I did was move a few boxes and help with unpacking.  Thank goodness for movers!

  1. I love this look, too, Jeannie! Casual chic—so pretty! Isn’t it funny how you can put an outfit on and not love it but then step out the door and get a million compliments?
    Have a wonderful weekend!

  2. I can’t believe I missed this post. I don’t know why you don’t think much of your outfit because it looks beautiful on you! I may have worn different shirt but that’s a minor, minor detail. You look long, lean, and young 😉

  3. I LOVE this outfit, and that you wore grey. It’s a great neutral that I don’t see many people wear. I know for a fact I don’t have very much. But, you know what else I love? The fact that you are art directing your shoot with the iPad images! That is hilarious, but so efficient too.

  4. I think this outfit is amazing! The jacket is just gorgeous, now I want one. Thank you for joining us for the Date Night roundup. I really liked your casual-yet-glamorous look. XO, Jill

  5. I don’t know what there is to NOT love about this entire outfit. Your jacket is marvelous as well as the blouse, perfect way to dress up the jeans. Your cute hubby is becoming a master photographer, tell him thanks for the techno tips, I’m definitely forwarding this to my husband. I have actually shown him a lot of your blog so he can get a feel of being a good photographer. You look beautfiful, as always.

  6. Oooo I had no idea your husband is so tech savvy and that you can use a wireless remote to transmit the pix to the ipad. Love that jacket and that paddington style is my favorite from all the releases!

  7. Hello master of IPad and elegance 🙂
You don’t need to look better as you are already such a pretty woman. You can help your daughter moving and still look perfect. You just amaze me…
Your bag is superb. I need it – for the look + to enter the club of smart women…
Love your funny photos of sleeping beauties. Moving.
    Have a lovely week,

  8. :Love the jacket -and that bag is AMAZING! but i gotta say, the geek-tip is awesomeness! i use a card reader in my iPad so i can transfer pics, but the wireless is groovy! Thanks to the hubs! 🙂

  9. I like this outfit and I think you styled it well as always. I can not keep up with this technology. We went camera shopping a couple of days ago and just when I thought I had things figured out on what I wanted, I came out of the experience more confused than ever. Cameras now have Wifi and GPS….what the???

  10. Your hubby is a great support and a good sport to get you hooked up to the technology! Love your outfit, Jeannie…but that’s no surprise because I love every single outfit you put together. You really do have a way with styling. The little jacket is darling.
Thanks for the funny pics and the laughs!

  11. I really like how you paired the jacket with that shirt. I don’t know how to describe why I like it…but I just do! I would so wear it : )

  12. Moving is high on my list of Things I Hate Doing! Sheer torture.

I love the gray, Jeannie. Even wear it in my hair! The jacket is terrific, too, but cut only for the very sleek and fit, like you.

Hope your skies are blue, not gray, this weekend.

    Cheers,
    April

  13. Jeannie – What I love most about the pieces you pick are the details. You have an incredible eye for detailing, the collar on this jacket and your bag are gorgeous. The sleepy animals are just the cutest! Thanks for another great outfit inspiration.

  14. What a fantastic purse!! Send it my way when you get tired of it, okay?? Really great jacket too.

I think that’s one of my kids on the toilet there. About 25 years ago!

  15. You look very causal, but still very elegant! A big hurray for hubbies that help us with outfit photos – they are keepers!

  16. Hi Jeannie
You look fabulous .. I love my eye-fi card! When we first bought it, Graeme was doing the IT part and was very frustrated moaning it wasn’t working – I asked the question ‘did you check the manual’ and got ‘the eye roll’ … well, if we buy the card that costs $100 more, then it will download RAW files, but the one we have, only does jpg’s … lol … once we changed the setting it worked like a dream 🙂
    Enjoy your weekend

  17. LOL – that potty pic is too much!
The geeky info is very interesting – I had actually been reading about that (how brutal is that to admit!!!).
I like the outfit – it is perfect for Super Bowl weekend and if you have plans to go to a SB party that outfit would be it!
