LOL. I just saw the info … aggh. scratch my last comment, except for the part about you looking gorgeous 🙂
Okay. I need the info on this whole look — I love it! This is my kind of look! and you look gorgeous as ever.
Jeannie, you look good in those jeans and how comfy are they? Love your easy vibe. Little doggy, I feel your pain. Those cats are lucky aren’t they? 😀
Thanks! They are very very comfy! I think it has stretchy/spandex material in them.
Yeah but they’re not as cute as this little pup! 🙂
So very nice to meet you. I know your son must love Princeton, but you are right. UNC Chapel Hill is a beautiful campus. Thanks for your lovely comment. I will look forward to getting to know you.
Son graduated a few years ago. I think he enjoyed the school…maybe not so much the studying. 😀 Glad to meet you, too! I hope I win that hotel getaway cuz I really need a break! haha…don’t we all?
I got a pair of patterned jeans this fall and I’d love to have a bunch more! Just loving this look, and especially your dark reddish colour.
Printed jeans/pants are addictive. I don’t know what it is, but it turns my head when I see them. Am I sick? 😀
loved the color combination 🙂
and beautiful Chanel, love it!
Thanks Ingrid! 😀
Oh love those pants! And combined with that leather jacket, Wow!
Thank you, Sylvia!
It’s my rock n roll side. 😉
It’s refreshing to see someone else close to my age who also loves to wear heels and rock a more modern look. Keep up the great work! You are a lovely and very inspiring woman with a great sense of style.

Beautiful blouse….so feminine and soft! You always look gorgeous!
Thank you, Pam!
There’s so many comments in here the scrolling cursor fell off the computer and into my lap!! I had to go on my son’s computer to complete my comment. ha!
I’m sorry to not be able to enter this contest. I don’t have a facebook anymore. I switched my addiction to blogs. LOL
I love those pants!!
LOL! This is so much fun!
It’s actually not my giveaway per say…the Art Zulu agency asked if I would be interested in posting the giveaway on my blog and I said yes! A chance for someone reading my blog to win this coat? Why not? I checked out Blue Duck, they have gorgeous winter coats.
I don’t have a Facebook, either. Hopefully, one of my blog friends will win!

Great color jeans — so rich! Just noticed the big-face watch you’ve got on too. Another winning outfit!
It’s a man’s watch! Had a few links taken out and voila! 😀
I love your pants ! The snakeskin print is awesome, and burgundi is all that thrills me these days, with his baroque vibe !
I know what you mean about burgundy this season. I’m loving it, too!
Love the outfit! The surrounding of the photos is very cleverly chosen… I love the way the golden color of the dry leaves provide background to the burgundy jeans
Thank you, Sara!
We didn’t have time to go anywhere for the photos so it was taken in our backyard. As you can see, it’s kinda messy with dead leaves and bark…..we’re too lazy to landscape because of the upkeep. Hubby says he like it “all natural!”….in other words, he doesn’t want yard work!
I agree with your hubby – “all natural” looks beautiful!
Not only do I LOVE your jeans, the white shirt is so FAB! I LOVE cute little sheer shirts like this!
-Daisy Nguyen from the PS BANANAS! fashion blog: http://psbananas.com
I like tops like this, too. Actually, I love “silk” anything!
i am soooo with you on the printed jeans. i’m obsessed and have been buying all sorts of prints (houndstooth, animal print, ikat). these are great and i love the color!
Once I get rolling with a trend, I can’t seem to stop.
What are we gonna do when printed jeans are no longer chic? Haha
i like the subtlety of your printed pants here and the basic black and white really give them the focus
have a great weekend
Thank you Brett! I’m not very good with pattern mixing. I play it safe most of the time with colors and patterns.
Happy weekend to you, too!
Love the jeans…love them! I think we should get together for a girls night out..you wear the red snakeskin and I will wear my red roses. Imagine the stares and fun!!
Yes, imagine! Would we be considered “attention seekers?” Haha
A girl’s night out sounds like fun!
Ageless. That’s your look here. Here you look like you’re ditching 6th period to meet your boyfriend, and I do NOT mean your outfit is too young. It’s absolutely age perfect … but then you know you don’t look anywhere close to your age. This look is youthful, not just young. BTW, so often after I look at your posts, I stop by my closet and scan for something I can use to mimic your look for the day. ‘Preciate ya!
Jan – this is such a thoughtful and kind comment. I appreciate it so very much!
You know, I struggle with “age-appropriate” thing all the time, but I’ve been consciously choosing to dress what makes me feel good instead of “is this appropriate?” I’ll be at an age where I really won’t be able to wear certain style soon enough….but until then, I’m gonna keep on. 😀 And, that goes for wearing heels, too!
Jeannie–when the jeans are a FABULOUS winey snake print–why not have more animal??? LOVE the outfit!!!!
Haha, I know! Snake print, leopard print, zebra print…..I’ll take ’em all! 🙂
Thank you, Tamera!
Jeannie, those jeans are great, but I love that white top even more! Great combination! Have a good weekend! ~Patricia
Thank you, Patricia!
I can SO see you in this top. It does look like something you’d wear.
I’m having a wonderful weekend. Out of town – visited hubby’s family yesterday and attended UT football game today.
Busy but fun! Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend so far!
I *almost* picked up a pair of printed jeans last night. Your look has inspired me to go ahead and take the plunge! I love how you paired these up in a totally wearable way. And your hair looks great, btw.
Alison – you’d look so cute in them! You already wear color jeans SO well!
I’m kinda obsessed with printed jeans to tell you the truth…colored ones, too.
My hair? Why, thank you!! 🙂
The pants and shirt are gorgeous too. The younger and casual Jeannie. With the jacket is the perfect outfit. Very well. .
You got it! I like younger! Haha
Gorgeous printed jeans and love it paired with the sheer top.
Thanks Alice! One of my fav tops. It goes with just about everything!
Jeannie…you always look so perfect. I love the top. I also love your puppy/poopy picture at the bottom of the page.
Thank you, Lisa! You’re very sweet!
Yes, I LOVE this pup! So cute!
Jeannie! I love your look, as always. Especially the sheer white top, it’s timeless. I wanted to write more, but I keep getting distracted by the name of one of your commenters, “why am I here in a handbasket.” Well, darn it, I’d like to know why on earth he or she IS in a handbasket. And what is a handbasket? And if you’re drinking anything, I hope you put it down before you read my comment!!!
Haha! You know I always have something to drink! Crap! This time I snorted some water up my nose!
I may ask her what it mean…..just for you! 😀 Hope you’re having a fun weekend!
love the top……..i run from snake anything…………lol.
Haha, I run from snakes, too. The real ones! 😀
Those pants are so great! I’d probably wear them every single day. Great outfit!
Thank you, Caroline!
I’ve been wearing printed jeans a lot lately. I don’t follow trends, but this one, I like! 😉
I love the jeans; what a beautiful and rich color!
Thanks Becky! The color is what caught my eyes…not so much the snake print. But, I like it. Not too dressy and not too casual. Hope you’re having a good weekend!
Ohhhhhhh, I NEED those pants! You look hot mama!
Haha….thanks Paula! ❤
Love your top – and your glasses and your watch by the way. As for the printed jeans, I am not really a snake print person…. But it fits you perfectly!
Anne (Playing with Scarves)
Thank you! I’m not a snake person either, but the color of the jeans is what caught my attention. It’s comfortable as well, which is also a plus. I’ve been picking up a lot of printed jeans lately…I need to stop. 😉
Gorgeous look! Love the top 😉
what a beautiful outfit!
Thank you! 😀
