Gorgeous photos!
Thanks! It’s a gorgeous place!
Oh my gosh…your green shoes are so pretty. Love the sunset on the dock.
Thank you, Lisa!
I miss that sunset! 😦
Love the outfit, the view, the dog, the song, everything! But I love, love, love that jacket!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Home now … awwww. But know you had fun. Especially with your Huz and bestie-Tobi. Not a vacation without the dog.
Hi Jan!
I’m afraid we’re “one of those people” who look for pet-friendly vacations. Is that sad?
You may be over 50, but I would wear that whole outfit, so I’m thinking you’re pretty timeless overall.
Thank you!
I bet you view 50 as ancient? Haha. When I was your age, I thought everyone over 40 was OLD!
Thanks for visiting and your sweet comments! 😀
HA it’s not ancient when my mom’s sitting beside me :S
what a wonderful place where you are!
jeannie you look cute and happy, enjoy your days.

It was a gorgeous place and the week we spent there was peaceful!
Beautiful. I bet you had to be really careful walking in heels on the slatted walkway. We have a little deck out our front door I have to walk a couple of feet across to get to my car and I’ve learned to use extreme caution because I’ve caught my heel in between them, ripped it off, and nearly took a tumble. See…I’m a worrier…. Instead of taking in all that beauty in your photos, I’m fretting over your safety in those heels. ha
Lisa, you’re too funny! Thanks for worrying.
Yes, the heel did get caught once, and I was very careful after that. 😀
So, so gorgeous Jeannie. I LOVE that shot of you and Tobi. It is just perfect. xo
Thank you, DR!
Tobi is a terrific model. He’s really better at posing for photos than I am! 😉
I love your rolled jeans with heels – you look so relaxed and pretty! And the photos are relaxing too. Thanks for sharing it all with Visible Monday.
Thank you, Patti!
It was a wonderful & relaxing week.
Hi Jeannie,
I am so happy for you that you had a great time in our beloved sunshine state. it’s the ideal place for shooting sessions, don’t you think? (That’s where all my photos for the scarf CD were taken by the way).
Your jacket is fantastic. You are not going to wear it a lot now that you are back home… Maybe I can borrow it for a few months…. LOL.
xo,
Anne
Hi Anne,
We came home today to rain and strong winds! Burrrr
I’ll be happy to send the jacket your way! 😀
Gorgeous and relaxed in a beautiful setting. Great combination!
Thank you, Judith!
I’m very thankful for the week of rest and relaxation. Everything was perfect!
You are always so lovely and photogenic, but that photo of you and your dog on the pier is just amazing. Love your green heels with the cuffed boyfriend jeans.
You are so sweet! Thank you, Lynne!
What beautiful pics! Make me very jealous, here in cold and rainy London!
Thank you!
Sorry about your gloomy weather.
What a glorious sunset! I also like that jacket you are wearing. So Jeannie, Adrienne and I are doing our next ‘How I Wear My’ post about hats. Do you ever wear a hat? If you want to join us send me a picture of yourself by Nov. 1. We’d love to have you with us once again. XO, Jill
Thanks Jill!
I don’t usually wear hats b/c I look so terrible in them. I will try to see what I can come up with to join you and Adrienne.
Thanks for the invite!
Gorgeous photos and gorgeous you!! Glad you’re relaxing!!!
Thank you, Jean!
Though I love my mountains & the lakes, there’s something very special about the ocean. It’s been a wonderful week!
Wow does that look peaceful!
Hi Kristen!

Hi Christel!
I wish you could, too!
You are in Paris! So much I’d like to see there!
I love these jeans and the jacket and the shoes are such a gorgeous color. Tobi is such a rock star!
Thanks Alison!
Tobi IS a rock star! 🙂 I’m so pitiful when it comes to my little buddy.
See if I can leave a comment this time.

Thank you, Sacramento!
This would make a great Hallmark card – very romantic!! ❤
Thank you, Carmen!
It’s a gorgeous place, and the sunsets are indescribable! Maybe I’ll use it for holiday cards! 😀
wow, gorgeous pictures Jeannie! beautiful! the scenery and your outfit, both! 🙂
Thanks V!
The scenery is outstanding!
Your beachy getaway looks so inviting. I like the verdant green shoes you picked – unexpected and fun. Great high / low vibe with the jacket and jeans too. Too cute!
x Laura
Thank you, Laura!
I packed shorts, t-shirts and jeans for this trip…nothing fancy at all. This was my dinner outfit, best I had for this week. I lived in flip flops this week and loved every minute of being a beach bum! 😀
gorgeous view and gorgeous lady!! LOVe the shoes!! And how cute is Toby??
Thank you SO SO much!
Tobi is cute, I totally agree! 😀
Oh my, I must have those jeans! You look lovely there on that dock of solitude. Wish I could join you! I know all the words to that song.
Joni, I wish you could have been here, too!
We could sing the song while watching the gorgeous sun setting behind the horizon….sipping whisky or wine or margarita or whatever…. 😉
Your outfits are always the height of “appropriate” for what you’re doing in these pictures. Such a polished way to wear distressed jeans.
You give me way too much credit, but I thank you very very much! You’re wonderful!
now don’t you just look hip!!!! you inspire me my over age 50 friend. you look better than so many of those younger types!!! your tobi and my oscar have the same coloring. beautiful setting too.
Do I look hip? Haha
You are a sweetie! Thank you, Judy!
Beautiful photos. I’m counting the days until I’m on the Gulf Coast of Florida, though it is a few months away! Hope you continue to enjoy your time at the shore.
Thanks Anne!
We sure have enjoyed our week here….went by too fast! I would love to come back for Christmas holidays if I could!
Absolutely enticing pictures!!! Make me want to sit down on that dock beside you! Just stunning!
Thank you, Pam!
I wish you could experience the sunset on the dock, too!
Absolutely love that first shot! Even with the super casual outfit, you always manage to look so together!
Thanks daisyfae!
Words just can’t describe how beautiful the sunsets have been…..I can see myself retiring here….someday.
Amazing jacket, Jeannie – but you already knew it (hence you are wearing it :D)
Lovely location – beautiful!

Thank you, sweetie!
It’s gorgeous here by the water! The sunsets are amazing, too!
All I know is I want to be where you are. With dog. And outfit. Especially shoes. Always shoes. 🙂
But you’re a cat person! What would your kitties say? 😀
Yes, the shoes…..it’s a disease.
A beautiful pictures and a daring outfit. The scenery is spectacular in this light. You’re brave to wear these pants, you look great. With the jacket and shirt and make a very nice young outfit. The shoes are beautiful and make the outfit even more daring.
Thank you, Josep!
I am getting brave! What do I have to lose? I’m too old to worry, so I’ll just enjoy mixing up mature & youthful outfits. 😀
You look so relaxed…love that you brought your baby with you on vacation!

I’ve had a wonderfully lazy week. We rarely leave Tobi. He’s a VIP in our family! 😉
What a gorgeous setting! And you look beautiful, as always 🙂
Thank you, Marie!
I’ve been able to enjoy the gorgeous sunset every evening. Will never get tired of it!
That first photo is simply amazing!
Thank you, Terri! The sunset was absolutely gorgeous!
You’re just too pretty! Love the setting. Funny how we both went to the sea last weekend. I also took a pic of the back of my husbands head. I think he was wearing a cap too. Sadly, he didn’t make it in the blog.
Paula
Thank you, Paula!
I’m still here at the beach…will be heading home Sunday. It’s been a lazy week, and I’m enjoying the heck out of it! 🙂
Gorgeous view and great sunset photo! It was 45 degrees and hailing on my way home from the office today 😦 Winter is here..
Oh wow! Winter weather already? I’m not quite ready for that, are you?
