I’m thankful for….

The taxes I pay because it means I’m employed.

The clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.

A lawn that has to be mowed, windows that has to be washed and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.

The spot I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I’m capable of walking.

All the complaining I hear about our government because it means we have freedom of speech.

The lady behind me in church who sings off key because it means I can hear.

The huge piles of laundry and ironing because it means my loved ones are nearby.

The alarm that goes off early in the morning hours because it means I’m alive.

My daughter found this list on the internet…isn’t it a wonderful reminder?  Thanks Jordan for sending this to me. 🙂

    We take a lot of things for granted in our lives and forget how they are not….how easily they can be taken away or how other people suffer because they can’t do what we do..naturally…thank you for sharing this.

      You know, I get inspiration from nature all the time….what’s more beautiful than God’s creations?! I see perfect color combinations in animals, birds, plants, trees, flowers, and even rocks. Thank goodness I live in the mountains where I see the beauty everyday!

  31. Want the shoes!!!!!! Clean and classic as always. What i love about you, always hip without trying too hard…..as in wearing tons of stuff at once…..You look so darn good at 50ish!!! I’m 50 in a couple of weeks. Sure helps knowing I have a beautiful, fashionable friend like you!!!
