  1. You really make it look so effortless, and you ALWAYS dress so elegant, even when casual. Love the striped maxi on you. I love how you mix the patterns but still look like a minimalist. Impressive. Please keep blogging- I know it seems narcissistic but consider how we need more real life inspiration on +40 style, and you def are just the panacea for any fuddy-duddy duds. xo. • Thank you Patricia!
I know what you mean about the scarf. Most of McQueen scarves are a bit too edgy for me but it was a love at first sight for this one. I really love the size and the pattern.

  2. You always look so amazing Jeannie .. absolutely amazing. I love the ‘big’ stripes, the scraf and the sandals … love it all 🙂
    Have a stunning week

  3. Hey Jeannie, I really like maxis with blocks of color like yours, but haven’t tried that style yet. Do you plan on winterizing your maxis? If so how do you plan on doing it? Sad I’ll have to put mine away in a month or two.

    • Hi Sheila!
Since I live in the South, I’ll be definitely donning maxis this fall. Throw on a cardigan/jacket and a scarf and VOILA! 🙂 Booties go great with maxis, too!

  4. Hi Jeannie. I love this dress. I love the pattern and I love the colors, it’s beautiful. The scarf is beautiful and also combines beautifully. A great outfit. The hair picked up on you is great.

    • Elisa, you make it sound like an art….thank you so much!
Honestly, I’m having some thoughts about continuing to blog. It seems silly sometimes to take photos of outfits for all to see. What’s the point? It’s been one of those days today. 😦

      • It sounds like an art because you are an artist! I enjoy your blog so much because it’s different and fun. You keep it varied because you incorporate interesting tidbits and themes into your posts. I never had a plan when I decided to blog, which is why I struggled there for a while. Now it’s almost like an online journal….it will be fun to reflect on it when I’m older, and cherish the friends I’ve made along the way. Hang in there, friend, and keep on posting!!

        Elisa

  5. Jeannie, I love that maxi! You look amazing as usual and that LV bag… delish!! Congrats on your awards!!! 🙂
