Happend by mistake but I think I’ll keep it for a little while….needed a change.
I really like how you can see little tidbits from past posts right on the main page. So many great posts get lost in blogs. Looks like you’ll be able to have some fun with it!
You’ve inspired me to go out and find some jeans with color. The mint look spectacular on you! And your blog looks as good as you do.
Hi Judith!
Thank you so much! 🙂
Hi Jeannie!! It’s not fair! I’m sitting here craving ice cream (mint chocolate chip being one of my favorites) but then you look so good in those jeans, I have to think twice. Do I really need to be eating ice cream at this time of night? Great outfit, yummy colors.
Thanks Jean!
I’m actually craving some, too. Too bad our fridge is so empty…really gotta get to the store.
We’ll just have to meet for lunch & dessert before you take me to your favorite shops! 🙂
Oh, how I want some mint jeans. Even more since this post 🙂

xLaura
Thanks Laura!
I knew you were a serious cook…you grow your own herbs? I doubt I could even name five herbs. Oh, well…that’s what restaurants are for, right? I’m gonna send hubby to a cooking school when we retire. I’ll have my own personal chef! 🙂
I like the way you’re thinking Jeannie! You’ve got a better long-term plan than I do.
I know, right? I just have to convince him! 🙂
thanks for all the facts about mint1 This is a very popular color for 2012.
You’re welcome!
Yes, it is a very popular color this season…pretty & loud, too! 🙂
Cool blog layout! It looks like a magazine.
I just saw that Gap is carrying mint skinnies but they only come in regular 😦 I will have to stalk the website to see if they get in any talls.
My husband’s favorite ice cream flavor is mint chip – I like to surprise him with a pint every once in a while.
Thanks A!
I hope you’ll be able to get a pair…. you look so good in skinny color jeans!
Now, you can tell Bill that eating mint chip ice cream is good for his health! 😉
What an awesome post! I love how you mix your style and the food and the health benefits of the mint together! And the outfit looks beautiful, I love the mint and black combo! The Chanel bag is like the chocolate sauce on top! 🙂
Thanks Rachel!
Ah, so you noticed!!
The photo of the ice cream pie was my inspiration…very observant! 🙂
Love the outfit!! It’s pastel sweetness without the sickening part–I think the black does the trick!
I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect mint top–I thrifted a pair of never worn mint green Croft&Barrow sandals ($3) and now I need something to go with them! What??? Like no one reading this blog has EVER made an outfit around a pair of shoes!! LOLOL
Thank you Tamera!
Haha, I confess!!!! It’s my secret to building a nice outfit, don’t ya know??
You do look minty! The color of those pants is so pretty and pairing it with black makes it look simple but classy. I like too how you left the back of blouse un-tucked. This is a very nice look on you.
Merci, Lady Bliss!
I would just like a piece of that mint ice cream pie….well, maybe a glass of mojito or mint julep would be good, too! 🙂
Ah, heck….I’ll settle for a cup of tea at this point! 🙂
LOVE mint! (Thinking abot summery mojitos right now mmm) You are ROCKING those trousers! And the modern outfit looks amazing combined with the classic Chanel. LOVE!
Mint Julep, Mojitos…sounds good to me!
Thank you Edita! I love a classic bag with any outfit!! 😉
Pants very beautiful, a wonderful color. A perfect outfit combining mint and black. The hair, very pretty.
Thanks Josep! Glad you approve! 🙂
What a wonderful post Jeannie! I love mint ice cream and I also enjoy having it growing in my garden for iced tea or a cocktail (oops .. I guess that would cancel out the health benefits) An interesting list of the medicinal qualities of this wonderful herb.
The mint looks fabulous on you!
Enjoy the start to your week.
Leslie
Haha! How about a glass or two of mint julep? A little bourbon never hurt anyone, especially if one’s on vacation? 🙂
Mmmmm… i need ice cream and a mint julep!
Me, too!!!
That’s my first choice the ice cream mint. Haven’t tried ice cream cake mint but would love to…^_^ Love your mint pants too. It really goes well with the black top, awesome!
Kim,USA
Thanks Kim!
Oh, you need to try the ice cream cake! So good!
I had not known about the medical benefits of mint, although I plucked a leaf in our garden the other day. These jeans are a great color.
I wasn’t aware of all the medical benefits either. Now, all the more reasons to eat mint ice cream?! 🙂
Love those mint pants. A bold move — you look great in them!

Yes, it is quite bold for someone my age! 🙂
