Hello everyone! Hope you had a restful and fun weekend?!
Today’s inspiration…fuchsia!
I’m on a roll with brights again.
Saturday was hubby’s birthday! We celebrated by preparing and enjoying his favorite meal…turkey & stuffing! Our son, his girlfriend, and our daughter were all at home, so I was one happy mama!
Tobi would do anything for a piece of turkey!
We even went bowling for the first time in over 10 years…had a blast! Son video taped my fabulous form, hubby decided to post it on YouTube….so, what the heck? I thought I’d share it with you, too!
So graceful!
I’m linking up with Patti for Visible Monday and Nicole for Monday Mingle. Time to check out the lovely ladies.

Have a super week!!

You have this ability to turn fresh outfits into age appropriate ones and for this I love your blog!
Thanks Angie! I used to worry quite a bit about being age appropriate, but it’s getting easier to just “go for it”. I’m glad you thought this outfit was appropriate.
You look so good in the colour! It’s bright and cheery.. just in time for Spring!
Thanks Lady J!
Very nice 🙂 You live in such beautiful surroundings by the way!
Hi Iris!
Thank you! I am SO blessed to be surrounded by God’s beautiful creations!
LOVE your bright and casual look!!! And that pic of Tobi is so cute!! Sorry Jeannie, but I did LOL at your video!!! But you got a lot of the pins so hooray!!! 🙂
xo, sam
Haha! I may have ended up on the floor, but I made sure to let go of the bowling ball in time!
It was fun to spend time with our kids again! 🙂
I notice you are tan so great with the color of your blouse. And like the shoes and the bag! ^_^
Thanks Kim! Yeah, just got back from the beach…a little too much sun! 🙂
You look so cute in that outfit! Wow Im still looking for a hot pink neon shirt now!
Thanks Tami! 🙂
Great color for you! love it with the trees in the background, too! Really loved the bowling video, too! With that rough launch, you did well to aim it down the alley! Happy belated birthday to your husband! Will raise a glass of single malt next weekend!
Thank you Ms Daisyfae!
See? I can be funny sometimes. I’ll be sure to tell hubs, I’m sure he’ll be happy to join you!!
that top is gorgeous, perfect with the jeans!
Thanks Megan! 🙂
Too funny! I’ve seen worse bowling crimes. (I’ve probably committed them!) Love that fuschia color.
Glad you enjoyed the video. You gotta laugh at yourself sometimes…it’s good for the soul!
You know this look is one of my favorites! I just thrifted a shirt in a similar color. You look so pretty in yours after your vacation in the sun! So glad you could enjoy your family time; it’s the best.
Have a great week!
Love, Jean
Thanks Jean!
It is one of my favorite looks as well…anything with jeans is okay by me. 🙂
I love this jean, and the loose shirt is perfect with it !!!

happy b’day to the hubs
brett
Thank you Brett!!
Hubby had a good day!
The fuschia is wonderful on you and looks great with your tan. You know, the bowling thing is really great. I love those moments when we laugh at ourselves. I forgot to notice if the ball even knocked anything down! Happy belated bday to your hubby!
xLaura
Thanks Laura!
I actually DID knocked down a few pins. It was nice to provide some laugh to my family and others in the bowling alley. I had no idea son was taping…oh, well. My knees hurt more than my pride! 🙂
Love that blouse!! Looks like a perfect weekend look.
Thanks Alicia!
My favorite weekend outfits always include a pair of comfy jeans. 🙂
Tobi almost distracted me from the fashion for a moment 😉
You wear brights really well. The fushia color is something I have been seeing in NYC quite a bit – I own a few pieces in a similar style but I’m waiting for summer proper to bring them out. Hope you had a lovely weekend…

Haha, thank you! Tobi does steal the show!
My weekend was wonderful…hope you’re having fun in Austin!
Hi Jeannie, a beautiful outfit. I have reviewed your outfits and see that you are presenting proposals youth every day. I love your style classic, but the commitment to youth is perfect. Beautiful shirt, beautiful bag, beautiful shoes. And, as always, I love the little wrinkle at the waist mark Jeannie.
Thank you Josep!
Do you prefer classic or youthful? I try to mix it up a bit, but on weekends, I love to wear jean!
I like both proposals. I think you combine the two styles very well. You are not conventional and that makes you different. The jeans are perfect for comfort. But, when you dress classic you’re very elegant.
love, love, love your blouse! the color is perfect for your skin tone! you wear the half tucked in look well, what’s the secret? I tried it once and I thought I look stupid 🙂 a flatter tummy might be the trick for me 🙂 haha! Have a great day!
Too funny Laura!
I’m really loving the relaxed blouse these days…so easy to wear and comfy! I tuck in the shirt this way for two reasons. 1. When the shirt’s too big or long 2. To give an outfit a bit of structure without the structure if that makes any sense. I’m sure it didn’t look stupid on you…you can’t be too neat about it tho when you tuck it in…it’s a purposeful mess! Sorry for rambling…hope you get what I’m trying to say?!
Beautiful color and such a great outfit, Jeannie! The bowling video is so cute, and the cat/dog has me laughing with my coffee!
Thank you Patti!
Have a great day!
Casual, but somehow smacks of elegance!
Aww…..thank you!
I like fuchsia…such a vivacious and vibrant color. It looks fabulous against your tanned skin. I like the relaxed look too. Happy belated birthday to your hubby!

Thanks Mongs!
I’m really loving the relaxed, silky shirts at the moment…I tend to go thru phases.
Lovely, casual and colourful look. And what a great bag!
Thanks Sylvia! The shirt’s quite loud..but I really like it!
That shade looks wonderful on you. Looks great with a tan, too!
🙂
Thanks Elisa!
A little too much sun…not good for my skin. 😦
Oh, the video is a hoot. You may have hit on a bowling style that scores big points!
Well, I blame it on the momentum of my strong bowling form that put me on the floor…it was quite funny…to my family!
Love your outfit! It looks comfortable and really stylish, all at the same time. : )
Thank you!
The weekends are my time to wear comfy jeans!
