Fuchsia & Bowling ~

Hello everyone!  Hope you had a restful and fun weekend?!

Today’s inspiration…fuchsia!

I’m on a roll with brights again.

Saturday was hubby’s birthday!  We celebrated by preparing and enjoying his favorite meal…turkey & stuffing!   Our son, his girlfriend, and our daughter were all at home, so I was one happy mama!

Tobi would do anything for a piece of turkey!

We even went bowling for the first time in over 10 years…had a blast!  Son video taped my fabulous form, hubby decided to post it on YouTube….so, what the heck?  I thought I’d share it with you, too!

So graceful!

I’m linking up with Patti for Visible Monday and Nicole for Monday Mingle.  Time to check out the lovely ladies.

Have a super week!!

    • Thanks Angie! I used to worry quite a bit about being age appropriate, but it’s getting easier to just “go for it”. I’m glad you thought this outfit was appropriate.

  1. LOVE your bright and casual look!!! And that pic of Tobi is so cute!! Sorry Jeannie, but I did LOL at your video!!! But you got a lot of the pins so hooray!!! 🙂

    xo, sam

  2. Great color for you! love it with the trees in the background, too! Really loved the bowling video, too! With that rough launch, you did well to aim it down the alley! Happy belated birthday to your husband! Will raise a glass of single malt next weekend!

  3. You know this look is one of my favorites! I just thrifted a shirt in a similar color. You look so pretty in yours after your vacation in the sun! So glad you could enjoy your family time; it’s the best.

    Have a great week!

    Love, Jean

  4. The fuschia is wonderful on you and looks great with your tan. You know, the bowling thing is really great. I love those moments when we laugh at ourselves. I forgot to notice if the ball even knocked anything down! Happy belated bday to your hubby!

    • Thanks Laura!
I actually DID knocked down a few pins. It was nice to provide some laugh to my family and others in the bowling alley. I had no idea son was taping…oh, well. My knees hurt more than my pride! 🙂

  5. Hi Jeannie, a beautiful outfit. I have reviewed your outfits and see that you are presenting proposals youth every day. I love your style classic, but the commitment to youth is perfect. Beautiful shirt, beautiful bag, beautiful shoes. And, as always, I love the little wrinkle at the waist mark Jeannie.

  6. love, love, love your blouse! the color is perfect for your skin tone! you wear the half tucked in look well, what’s the secret? I tried it once and I thought I look stupid 🙂 a flatter tummy might be the trick for me 🙂 haha! Have a great day!

    • Too funny Laura!
I’m really loving the relaxed blouse these days…so easy to wear and comfy! I tuck in the shirt this way for two reasons. 1. When the shirt’s too big or long 2. To give an outfit a bit of structure without the structure if that makes any sense. I’m sure it didn’t look stupid on you…you can’t be too neat about it tho when you tuck it in…it’s a purposeful mess! Sorry for rambling…hope you get what I’m trying to say?!

  7. I like fuchsia…such a vivacious and vibrant color. It looks fabulous against your tanned skin. I like the relaxed look too. Happy belated birthday to your hubby!
