After a wonderful week of rest, we’re back home. I LOVE getting away; to rejuvenate, to relax, to enjoy a change of scenery, but I’ve missed my bed!
I wanted to share some family photos, but I failed to get a consent to publish more than the one below. My son, all of sudden, has become shy.
For Visible Monday and Monday Mingle, these photos from the second day at the beach was all I had left. I didn’t like the outfit or the photos, but didn’t have the time to do anymore photo shoots. In truth, I didn’t pack much, and I was too busy relaxing!
It was a fun & relaxing week, but I’m glad to be home.

Just to let you know, I have this exact t-shirt ~ a gift from my shy son. 🙂
Thank you for visiting, and have a wonderful week!

Ooh, I really like the trouser and denim jacket outfit – perfect beach stroll gear!
I agree! The pants are linen, very light & comfy! They’re my favorite hot weather pants. I have’m in white, too!
I like the TShirt…yes visiting back home is nice but I sure miss my bed too
Hi Kim!
I wish I knew the meaning of the t-shirt…it sounds funny, but I have no clue what it means!? I hope it’s nothing dirty.
That is such a funny t-shirt! Looks like you had an amazing week – I could use a vacation or just a week of nothing lol! ❤
We did have a great week!
I totally recommend doing nothing for a week!! Good for the soul! 🙂
What a fantastic vacay. I really need to get away for a while, but it just isn’t good timing. Super jealous!

Hi Bonnie!
You just gotta take that time to relax or you’ll burn out…I know!
Beautiful!
Thank you Jill!
I always love and envy your beach photos.
Thanks Nicole! 🙂
Great pictures! And I love the contrast of the stripes against the beach, with your windswept hair. Relaxing is the main thing, though – glad you had fun at the beach!
Thanks!
I was SOOOO lazy! It felt great!
Looks like you had a wonderful time, I’m so glad. You always look chic and pretty!
Love, Jean
Jean, you are so sweet,
Thank you!
glad you trip was so nice and relaxing

brett
Thanks Brett!
Yeah, that’s the only bad thing about traveling…you can never find a bed as comfy as your own. I always take one of my pillows tho…it helps, a little.
You absoutely look like you should be a permanant fixture on that beach! Glad you got some R and R, I’m sure you deserved it!
Hi Sheila!
I would love to be a permanent fixture on the beach! I’d love to pick up my house and set it on the beach somewhere!
Hope you had a fabulous trip! I really love your last look. A perfect beach look.
Thanks Alicia! We had a wonderful trip!
Hi Jeannie, sailor look beautiful, with gorgeous red stripes. I love the combination of black, red and white. The skirt, a little dangerous, it is wonderful and so are sandals. As always, I love the little wrinkle at the waist, is your distinction. Sure, home sweet home.
Thank you Josep!
You always know what to say. Haha…dangerous skirt! Yes, not so good when windy. 😉
There’s no place like home! Love your stripes and espadrilles!
Thanks Kristin!
I love to travel, but it’s always good to come home! 🙂
Sweetness, you’re comfy style is “style watch” worthy!!! You a hot lookin’ mama! Your hubby is a fine looking man…………..that son, Now camera shy ??? we are all nosey and want to see girlfriend….can he indulge the ladies…..Great pictures!!!
Lol! You’re so hilarious!
I’ll be sure to relay your message to hubby & son. Son’s girlfriend IS shy, but she’s beautiful inside and out!
These pictures look so happy and peaceful – way to go, Jeannie! And you’re right, of course, there’s no place like home : > Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday too.
Thanks Patti!
Maybe a permanent home on the beach would take care of that problem…my own bed! 🙂
You are always stylish and gorgeous. Nice looking husband too. 😉
Thank you so much!! I’ll be sure to tell hubby! 🙂
You and your hubby are so cute! It looks like a wonderful trip, but I do agree there is just something about home and its always nice to return! Glad you returned safely!
Thanks Pam!
There’s no place like home and my own bed! 🙂

Hi Mongs!
Thank you! “Relaxed” was my middle name last week! 🙂
You all look great! And Tobi too! ^_^
Visible Monday
Thanks Kim!
Yes, Tobi’s a cutie! 🙂
Welcome home! My husband and I love the water and beach so much we try to go as much as we can.
Tough day for us. My youngest son (just shy of 22) was in an auto accident this am. He is fine but his best friend was killed. Many questions still to be answered. All indications are that he was not driving. We won’t know how they end the investigation until tomorrow or later. All is so tragic. Please give your son an extra hug! Life can be over in a second. Sorry to be so depressing. I just saw the pic of him and his girlfriend and that’s all it took!
Oh, Tammy! I’m so sorry to hear such bad news. I’m glad your son’s okay, but how tragic for his friend…I can’t even imagine what his parents are going thru. This will be so tough for your son as well. You guys will be in my prayers.
Oh, the wind is your skirt makes the outfit wonderful. It was nice to meet your hubby…as we’ve heard a bit about the trouble he gives you. And that son isn’t shy about somethings is he?
Haha yeah! Hubby’s really a sweetie…most of the time.
Nah…son’s usually not shy.
Nothing wrong with that outfit… Can’t believe you are looking this stylish on the beach Jeannie!
Thanks Sylvia!
Not too sure about stylish… 🙂
Thank you so much for sharing some bits and pieces of your beach vacation! Your family is beautiful.
Welcome home!
Thanks Elisa!
I would have shared a lot more, but I have shy family members.
I love the photos and your outfit!
Thanks Bliss! 🙂 🙂
beautiful pictures, Jeannie! Love the one of you and your husband. Welcome home.
Hi Amy!
Thank you!
Hubby is shy, too. He didn’t want me to include his pic either…oh, well… 🙂
the beach shots are great — love the breezey one with you and Tobi!
Thanks daisyfae!
Tobi is my favorite accessory!! He’s SO photogenic! If only he could model my outfits…
Smart at the Beach and the whole family too! And Tobi enjoying the beach and as friendly as ever. And your shy son Lol still made good company and hubby always there for the family. Truly heart-warming. Welcome back home and can’t wait to see picyures of the gracefully50 again. Thanks,
Hi Omwa!
Thank you for your sweet words. I am blessed with a wonderful family. I wish our daughter could have come…we missed her.
Great photos! I love BCBG!
Thanks Danasia!
I do too! 🙂
Of course!
Looks like such nice family time.
Yes, it was so NICE! I just wish our daughter could have joined us…she couldn’t get off from work. 😦
Oh, you have two, do you? For some reason I just thought there was your son. It’s odd arranging family excursions/events when kids begin to develop independent lives, isn’t it.
Yes, I have a daughter who just graduated from college in December and started a job in January. Haven’t worked there long enough to ask for time off. It will be very tough to get together now that they have other obligations. Sigh…
Life is always changing and there is always something new to adapt to!
