April colors ~

Wow!  Can you believe it’s April already?

Why does the time seems to pass faster as we get older? I mean, it’s like going 120 mph in a 50 mph zone. What gives?

Anywho, I wanted to welcome April with some colors…you may want to get your sunnies out ~ don’t say I didn’t warn you! 🙂

I told ya it was bright!!

I’m linking up with Pattie @Visible Monday.  I believe I’ve got the visible part covered ~ don’t you? I’ve also linked up with Tammy at Silverstyle for Trending Thru The Decades: Brights.  I’ve got the brights covered, too!  I’m on a roll! I’ve linked up with Nicole at Monday Mingle @momtrends.com as well!   Go check out the fun and fabulous ladies!

Now to share some awesome photos of quilts in the snow…

Artist Simon Beck must really love the cold weather! Along the frozen lakes of Savoie, France, he spends days plodding through the snow in raquettes (snowshoes), creating these sensational patterns of snow art. Working for 5-9 hours a day, each final piece is typically the size of three soccer fields! The geometric forms range in mathematical patterns and shapes that create stunning, sometimes 3D, designs when viewed from higher levels.

Crazy beautiful!!

  1. I can’t believe it’s already April! It boggles my mind how fast this year is going by. I feel like the holidays and new years eve was just a few weeks ago *sigh* I need to take some time to enjoy spring before summer and fall pass by and winter is here again lol! You look great as always – I adore those jeans! I don’t have any in any fun colors – I definitely need to find a fun pair to add to my wardrobe!

Well, at least you’re young, and have a bright future ahead of you. Don’t take time for granted…it does pass by fast. I should know….I was so busy with life that I sometimes forgot to enjoy life. Sorry for preaching…you remind me of my daughter. 🙂

  2. nothing says spring like a pair of bright neon green jeans! fabulous! and the snow art? wow… makes me wish for a little more winter. just a little! 😉

  3. What a beautiful pair of jeans! I’ve seen so much “mint” around lately, but these aren’t mint, but something warmer. These are beautiful snow fields and designs. And, snowshoeing is great exercise.

    • Thanks Terri!
You’re right….these are more of a pastel mint in real person. A bit softer than the neon mint…still quite bright but I’m enjoying the pretty colors this season.
I do ski but never have tried snowshoeing. I’m sure it’ll burn some calories!!

  4. Great sexy/classy look. I like the jeans/shoes combination a lot!!! Snow quilts? Gorgeous. I’ll revisit those pics in August.

    Love, Jean

  5. Absolutely love the color of those pants! And I like the fact that you did a neutral on the top half and shoe. I tend to go overboard with the color and then just look wacky rather than classy. haha You look perfect.

    • Hi Emily!
Thank you so much! The color is softer in real person than the photos…soft mint is what I’d call it….although, it’s brighter than anything I have in my closet!

  6. Jeannie! I love it, and I wish I had a fun pair of bright jeans! MINT is the color this season so you are totally trend ready!

And those snowflake sculptures are amazing!! And LOVE the difference b/t cats and dogs! So true and hilarious!

I showed my hubby that dog booping the cat on the head – he was in tears too!

    xo, sam

    • Thanks Pam!
You should get a pair! I think it’s a great mood lifter…a way to celebrate spring with a shout!
Anyway, you wear your red pants very well, so this will just add another color to your wardrobe!
Hope you’re students like the snow art…I sure did!

  7. Love the pants! Perfect with the neutrals. Wore bright teal the other day, with white blouse, cami and gold everything else. Got lots of complements. I think it’s a good look for those of us over 40…….like anyone would even think we’re over 40 anyway!!!!! Not sure I would do head to toe neon these days, but who knows. May go for it next week!!! You just so beautiful girlfriend!!! Wish we lived closer. Love the snow art. Beauty in everything, by nature or creativity. That’s my cats, they may open an eye, to be sure it’s me, then back to their day job, sleeping! If a food bowl is anywhere near empty, well, no peace in the household until the fur babies are tended to to.

  8. Very cool snow art! Thank you for sharing that.

I am in green jeans today, too. But you have me beat in the bright department. What a great shade of green! You always look so well put together.

    Have a great Monday.

    A

    • Thanks Adrienne!
      I don’t think you could go any brighter… 🙂
It’s actually a softer pastel green in person..not as bright as it appears in the photos. I’m branching out, yet again…
      Happy Monday to you, too!

  9. your neon green pants is gorgeous. Such a trendy color for spring. Looks very co-ordinated with the rest of your outfit. I am amazed at the snow art, so creative and really intricate and tedious works. Great pictures as always.

You’re not shocked by them? I don’t usually follow trends, but I just couldn’t resist the colors this spring….mostly, I’m in neutrals no matter what season…a little color never hurt anyone, I don’t think. 🙂
It’s incredible how one person can create such an art..in the snow!

  10. I love those 3D designs, idea is just unbelievable.
And, yes, I can’t believe that it’s April, because yesterday night it snowed where I live, it’s unbelievable, it is +4 and it’s snowing. How weird is that?

  11. Those are a bright green…thanks for the heads up. : ) Adrienne at The Rich Life wore green skinny jeans for Visible Monday too. You both wear them well…I don’t think I could be as brave. ~~Bliss

    • Yep! They’re bright!
      I saw A’s jeans…she wore them well…not as shocking.
Yes you can! Start with a kelly green…then you’ll be able to shock people like I did with a neon green in no time! 😉
      Have a super day Bliss!

  12. Hi Jeannie, you signed a acid fashion, fine. I really love these colors acids. The green color of your pants is beautiful and is perfect in the beautiful scenery around you. The outfit is very accurate and balanced. I see your hair a little different, yes? I think Georgia should be a wonderful place. Your lights one wonderful spring.

    • Hi Josep!
      Thank you so much!
Yes, Georgia this time of the season is beautiful with all the pretty colorful blooms…this is why I love spring! My hair wasn’t cooperating that day…I was going for the wind-blown look. Haha.

  13. You look as fresh as a spring day! Your beautiful post is a good reminder to freshen up my wardrobe…but you are right, who has time anymore! It’s all going by SO fast!

    🙂

    • Thanks!
It amazes me sometimes what people are capable of…unexpected surprises like the snow art. I think some splash of colors in our lives isn’t a bad thing…hope you find that perfect green pants for the spring!

    • Hi Sylvia,
Yes it was a beautiful sunny day. The spring colors around our neighborhood were just incredible…I just wanted to be a part of it…in my own shocking way. Lol!
