Wow! Can you believe it’s April already?
Why does the time seems to pass faster as we get older? I mean, it’s like going 120 mph in a 50 mph zone. What gives?
Anywho, I wanted to welcome April with some colors…you may want to get your sunnies out ~ don’t say I didn’t warn you! 🙂
I told ya it was bright!!
I’m linking up with Pattie @Visible Monday. I believe I’ve got the visible part covered ~ don’t you? I’ve also linked up with Tammy at Silverstyle for Trending Thru The Decades: Brights. I’ve got the brights covered, too! I’m on a roll! I’ve linked up with Nicole at Monday Mingle @momtrends.com as well! Go check out the fun and fabulous ladies!
Now to share some awesome photos of quilts in the snow…
Artist Simon Beck must really love the cold weather! Along the frozen lakes of Savoie, France, he spends days plodding through the snow in raquettes (snowshoes), creating these sensational patterns of snow art. Working for 5-9 hours a day, each final piece is typically the size of three soccer fields! The geometric forms range in mathematical patterns and shapes that create stunning, sometimes 3D, designs when viewed from higher levels.
What’s the difference between a dog and a cat?
Thanks for stopping by, and have a good one!

Love it! Oh, that pastel mint is such a perfect colour for you, it looks amazing! 🙂 xoxo
You look sub-lime 🙂 and the cat’s point of view is spot on. Hilarious!
Why thank you Laura!
I know! That’s why I’m a dog person!
Jeannie, I have nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award because I love your inspiration. You can see it here: http://decamvilledesign.wordpress.com/2012/04/03/day-50-oh-my-word-thank-you-for-the-award/

I can’t believe it’s already April! It boggles my mind how fast this year is going by. I feel like the holidays and new years eve was just a few weeks ago *sigh* I need to take some time to enjoy spring before summer and fall pass by and winter is here again lol! You look great as always – I adore those jeans! I don’t have any in any fun colors – I definitely need to find a fun pair to add to my wardrobe!

Well, at least you’re young, and have a bright future ahead of you. Don’t take time for granted…it does pass by fast. I should know….I was so busy with life that I sometimes forgot to enjoy life. Sorry for preaching…you remind me of my daughter. 🙂
nothing says spring like a pair of bright neon green jeans! fabulous! and the snow art? wow… makes me wish for a little more winter. just a little! 😉
Did I blind you a bit?
Maybe by mid summer, we might be wishing for some snow. 🙂
Have a super day!! Hope your shin’s better!
Cute pants! Very fresh and pretty for spring! =)
Cool jeans and I think the snow artist is so inspiring! Thanks for sharing on Monday Mingle.
love the green.
April means I’m only two months away from meeting my little girl! Love those jeans!
Can’t wait to meet her!! 🙂
You’ve definitely inspired me to go for some colored jeans this year. I’ve always loved them, and am so glad they’re back in. Love the snow art too!
I think it would be a great post topic for you! Of course, you’d need to provide the visual as well. You can do a fashion post!! Yes?
You get the prize for best jeans of the week. What an unusual but versatile green!
Why thank you Lynne!
What can I say? I love jeans!
The colored ones are just fun…so, why not have some fun! Right?
What a beautiful pair of jeans! I’ve seen so much “mint” around lately, but these aren’t mint, but something warmer. These are beautiful snow fields and designs. And, snowshoeing is great exercise.
You’re right….these are more of a pastel mint in real person. A bit softer than the neon mint…still quite bright but I’m enjoying the pretty colors this season.
I do ski but never have tried snowshoeing. I’m sure it’ll burn some calories!!
Great sexy/classy look. I like the jeans/shoes combination a lot!!! Snow quilts? Gorgeous. I’ll revisit those pics in August.
Ah, yes! By August, we’ll all be ready for some snow!!
Absolutely love the color of those pants! And I like the fact that you did a neutral on the top half and shoe. I tend to go overboard with the color and then just look wacky rather than classy. haha You look perfect.
One bright piece is my limit!! Lol!
I didn’t want to overload the senses!! 🙂
Thank you for sharing that incredible art in the snow!
I just read today that mint is one of the top colors of this season and here you are stylish and lovely in mint. Love your outfit.
Thank you! I jumped on the band wagon on the color trend this season…it’s SO not like me, but I really love it! It must be the rebel in me again!
the jeans are so amazing! I think they are my favorite that I have seen in this color. You look great!
Thank you so much! The color is softer in real person than the photos…soft mint is what I’d call it….although, it’s brighter than anything I have in my closet!
Jeannie! I love it, and I wish I had a fun pair of bright jeans! MINT is the color this season so you are totally trend ready!
And those snowflake sculptures are amazing!! And LOVE the difference b/t cats and dogs! So true and hilarious!
I showed my hubby that dog booping the cat on the head – he was in tears too!
I’m really loving the pastels & brights this season…the colors make me happy! Go figure!
Glad it made you smile!
I’ve seen so many green pants and jeans, that now I want a pair! You look great! Those snow designs are amazing…I must show them to my students.
You should get a pair! I think it’s a great mood lifter…a way to celebrate spring with a shout!
Anyway, you wear your red pants very well, so this will just add another color to your wardrobe!
Hope you’re students like the snow art…I sure did!
Love the pants! Perfect with the neutrals. Wore bright teal the other day, with white blouse, cami and gold everything else. Got lots of complements. I think it’s a good look for those of us over 40…….like anyone would even think we’re over 40 anyway!!!!! Not sure I would do head to toe neon these days, but who knows. May go for it next week!!! You just so beautiful girlfriend!!! Wish we lived closer. Love the snow art. Beauty in everything, by nature or creativity. That’s my cats, they may open an eye, to be sure it’s me, then back to their day job, sleeping! If a food bowl is anywhere near empty, well, no peace in the household until the fur babies are tended to to.
You crack me up Judy!!
Well, you’d better email me a pic if you go head to toe in neon brights!
I figured you’d understand the cat’s view.
Have a super Monday!
Very cool snow art! Thank you for sharing that.
I am in green jeans today, too. But you have me beat in the bright department. What a great shade of green! You always look so well put together.
Have a great Monday.
I don’t think you could go any brighter… 🙂
It’s actually a softer pastel green in person..not as bright as it appears in the photos. I’m branching out, yet again…
Happy Monday to you, too!
Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday with those fabulous green pants, Jeannie! You look wonderful. And you’ve got the cat/dog thing just right too : >
Thank you! Have a great day!
I love the pictures at the end-you know what they say–dogs have owners, cats have staff!
Have a great day!
Haha…you’re so right!
Hope you have a super day as well!
Love those pants!!!
love the colors Jeannie! just love them!! 🙂
Thank you so much V! 🙂
your neon green pants is gorgeous. Such a trendy color for spring. Looks very co-ordinated with the rest of your outfit. I am amazed at the snow art, so creative and really intricate and tedious works. Great pictures as always.
Thank you Mongs!
You’re not shocked by them? I don’t usually follow trends, but I just couldn’t resist the colors this spring….mostly, I’m in neutrals no matter what season…a little color never hurt anyone, I don’t think. 🙂
It’s incredible how one person can create such an art..in the snow!
I love those 3D designs, idea is just unbelievable.
And, yes, I can’t believe that it’s April, because yesterday night it snowed where I live, it’s unbelievable, it is +4 and it’s snowing. How weird is that?
Snow? Where do you live?
I love snow, but not in April. Hope it warms up so you can wear sandals soon! 🙂
I know! wow! I live in southern part of Sweden, so it’s not that common.
Ou, I hope so too 🙂
Those are a bright green…thanks for the heads up. : ) Adrienne at The Rich Life wore green skinny jeans for Visible Monday too. You both wear them well…I don’t think I could be as brave. ~~Bliss
Yep! They’re bright!
I saw A’s jeans…she wore them well…not as shocking.
Yes you can! Start with a kelly green…then you’ll be able to shock people like I did with a neon green in no time! 😉
Have a super day Bliss!
Hi Jeannie, you signed a acid fashion, fine. I really love these colors acids. The green color of your pants is beautiful and is perfect in the beautiful scenery around you. The outfit is very accurate and balanced. I see your hair a little different, yes? I think Georgia should be a wonderful place. Your lights one wonderful spring.
Thank you so much!
Yes, Georgia this time of the season is beautiful with all the pretty colorful blooms…this is why I love spring! My hair wasn’t cooperating that day…I was going for the wind-blown look. Haha.
You look as fresh as a spring day! Your beautiful post is a good reminder to freshen up my wardrobe…but you are right, who has time anymore! It’s all going by SO fast!
This by far is the boldest color jeans I’ve ever owned. I think I might be having a “past mid-life crisis!” You won’t miss me coming down the street…no siree Bob! 🙂
I think the color compliments you! And wearing them will be a major bonus if you have to cross a busy street….
The snow “quilts” are just amazing. And whoever would come up with the idea to DO such a thing! You pants, I love. I’ve been looking for the perfect kelly green ones this spring.
It amazes me sometimes what people are capable of…unexpected surprises like the snow art. I think some splash of colors in our lives isn’t a bad thing…hope you find that perfect green pants for the spring!
Great to see you’re playing with colour Jeannie. Beautiful! And what a gorgeous day it must have been!
Yes it was a beautiful sunny day. The spring colors around our neighborhood were just incredible…I just wanted to be a part of it…in my own shocking way. Lol!
Silly girl, don’t forget to link this bright outfit up with my trending through the decades: brights………….You look good in color and should wear it more often!
