Good Monday!
It’s early February and the temperature’s in the 60’s…how great is this?
If I haven’t mentioned my love for neutrals…well, here’s another example. I have a tendency to gravitate toward black, neutrals and earth-tones. I swear, I used to be colorful in my younger years…I have no clue why or when this changed. Why, yes I do. I grew older, matured, became a wife & a mother. Life happened, and my colorful wardrobe wasn’t that important. It’s funny how I’ve come a full circle…I want to be more colorful now, I really do. This Spring…yeah, definitely this Spring!
These are one of my all time favorite heels. “Ankle buster” is what hubby calls it…but hey, I’ll wear them til I can’t!
I’m linking up with Visible Monday and Monday Mingle. Check them out!
Thank you so much for visiting and have a great day!

[oomph.]
Thank you!
Sometimes I feel so boring with all the pretty colors out there… but it’s always been my go to colors. Old habits…

JEANNIE!! LOVE this outfit!! Your daughter must love handing out with her beautiful mom! And there’s that beautiful necklace you got!! Those ankle busters are amazing, and I would wear them till I couldn’t also! {FYI: My hubby does ortho lower extremity and he always tells me that I’m going to need surgery on my feet because of all the crazy shoes I wear! So your “ankle busters” comment made me think of that! LOL!}

Your outfit is beautiful! And I really, really, really (that’s 3 really’s) mean it. I’ve been trying to catch up tonight and I think my comment theme is our own sense of style and how we learn from others and make the leap. I’ m with you on the color. Especially here in the midwest I tend to stay pretty neutral. Come on spring I need some color in my life!!

Hi Nicole,
They are really high…prob. the highest heels I own. One of those special occasion kind. No walking too far in these, that’s for sure! You look sensational in your photo shoot..I loved your look!
And you wear neutrals so well. Lovely classic look!
Thank you Sylvia!
Loving the deep v on this sweater & that you wore a long necklace instead of filling the v.
oh & the shoes…amazing
Brett
Hi Brett!
Thanks! I love your description…makes me sound as if I actually know what I’m doing. 🙂
I love the sleeves and neckline of your sweater! Neutral tones are great and always pull off such a classic look.
Hi Court!
Thank you…classic is great, maybe that’s why I’m so drawn to neutrals. 🙂
You’ve done it again. You look great! You don’t always have to do color. You’re making quite a statement with your neutrals.
I did? Thanks you SO much! 🙂
Can’t go wrong with neutrals but I too want to add some spice this Spring. I fell in love with a pair of royal blue jeans and was shocked that I even looked at them twice.
Yay Bella! Go for it! I’d love to see it on you!
Hahaha that is what my hubby name my incredible high heeled shoes. And he wonder how I can still walk, lol! I think men can’t ever understand why hahaha!
I love this color on you and like you I tend to go to that path until I found blogs in fashion and now I have the nerve to put on leopard print, colorful tops, and hopefully colorful jeans. Which as far as I can remember the last time I wore colored jean was when I was in college, early 80’s haha. Good luck Jean, I know you can pull with those pretty bold color that is in fashion right now, you are gorgeous and chic no matter what dress you got! ^_^
By the way so loving the purse and the shoes, sweet!!
Yellow Silk Top
Thanks Kim!

I think you’re doing a wonderful job of trying new things. Good luck with colorful jeans!

Simply stunning…I love this blouse so much! The total look is fabulous!
Thank you so much Pam! 🙂
Wow! This has to be my favorite look on you (but I love all your looks). You look elegant and chic and sexy …would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.
Have we seen this bag on the blog before? I always say this, but your handbag collection is the best I’ve seen.
Have a great Monday!

I actually asked hubby if he would take me out if I wore those heels…haha.
I’m sure I’ve posted the bag before..and thank you!
Have a great week!
I love cut of the sweater on you. The wide neck looks marvelous. I’m a huge fan of neutrals too. Just can’t seem to get through a week without them.
xLaura
Thanks Laura! Glad I’m not alone. Count me in for at least 4 days of neutral dressing…not too exciting office attire…
