Elevated…

Good Monday!

It’s early February and the temperature’s in the 60’s…how great is this?

If I haven’t mentioned my love for neutrals…well, here’s another example.  I have a tendency to gravitate toward black, neutrals and earth-tones.  I swear, I used to be colorful in my younger years…I have no clue why or when this changed.  Why, yes I do. I grew older, matured, became a wife & a mother. Life happened, and my colorful wardrobe wasn’t that important.  It’s funny how I’ve come a full circle…I want to be more colorful now, I really do.  This Spring…yeah, definitely this Spring!

These are one of my all time favorite heels.  “Ankle buster” is what hubby calls it…but hey, I’ll wear them til I can’t!

I’m linking up with Visible Monday and Monday Mingle.  Check them out!

Thank you so much for visiting and have a great day!

  1. beautiful shoes!! adds just the right amount of oomph to these neutrals. i always tend to revert back to neutrals….it’s refreshing sometimes after all of the brights we come across.

    [oomph.]

  2. JEANNIE!! LOVE this outfit!! Your daughter must love handing out with her beautiful mom! And there’s that beautiful necklace you got!! Those ankle busters are amazing, and I would wear them till I couldn’t also! {FYI: My hubby does ortho lower extremity and he always tells me that I’m going to need surgery on my feet because of all the crazy shoes I wear! So your “ankle busters” comment made me think of that! LOL!}

  3. those shoes are absolutely STUNNING on you! what a great outfit! Can’t wait to see more of your shoes. I am a shoe-a-holic myself and my husband is always making fun of my “ankle buster” heels. They just don’t get it 😉

  4. LOL Ankle buster! It’s so true! I share your sentiments though, I’m going to wear them till I can’t! LOVE the slouchy sweater with the straight skirt. GORGEOUS! Hugs! ~Serene

  5. Your outfit is beautiful! And I really, really, really (that’s 3 really’s) mean it. I’ve been trying to catch up tonight and I think my comment theme is our own sense of style and how we learn from others and make the leap. I’ m with you on the color. Especially here in the midwest I tend to stay pretty neutral. Come on spring I need some color in my life!!
Stop by new trending link is up and running,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    • Hi Nicole,
They are really high…prob. the highest heels I own. One of those special occasion kind. No walking too far in these, that’s for sure! You look sensational in your photo shoot..I loved your look!

  6. Can’t go wrong with neutrals but I too want to add some spice this Spring. I fell in love with a pair of royal blue jeans and was shocked that I even looked at them twice.

  7. Hahaha that is what my hubby name my incredible high heeled shoes. And he wonder how I can still walk, lol! I think men can’t ever understand why hahaha!
I love this color on you and like you I tend to go to that path until I found blogs in fashion and now I have the nerve to put on leopard print, colorful tops, and hopefully colorful jeans. Which as far as I can remember the last time I wore colored jean was when I was in college, early 80’s haha. Good luck Jean, I know you can pull with those pretty bold color that is in fashion right now, you are gorgeous and chic no matter what dress you got! ^_^
By the way so loving the purse and the shoes, sweet!!

  8. Wow! This has to be my favorite look on you (but I love all your looks). You look elegant and chic and sexy …would be perfect for Valentine’s Day.

Have we seen this bag on the blog before? I always say this, but your handbag collection is the best I’ve seen.

    Have a great Monday!
