My love for neutral and earth tone colors are very evident in my closet…they’re comfort colors, if there is such a thing…kinda like comfort food?
Anyway, I wanted to pair this simple, comfy, green sweater dress two ways, and accentuate with shades of brown for a little earthy & comfort feel.
First, a dressier look by pairing it with heels, and a classic trench coat for those nippy days.
Second, a bit more casual look by pairing it with a tweed & leather blazer and boots ~

Thank you so much for stopping by and wishing you a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving!
Dress: Calvin Klein Coat: Burberry Shoes: Bettye Muller Bag: Chanel
Tweed Jacket: Ralph Lauren Boots: Kors Michael Kors Bag: LV
Beautiful styling and color combination
Those olive heels and the tweed jacket are adorable! Love the outfit swap, it’s always nice to see how easily a dress can be transitioned from dressy to a little more casual.

Hi Jill, Thank you so much for your visit and your sweet comment! Don’t you just love cavs?
you look gorgeous in a trench!!!
Thank you V!
LOVE the Chanel! I was just thinking I NEED a Chanel bag!
Merry Christmas to YOU?
You look beautiful in that green dress! I love both ways you styled it, especially the second way with the brown boots. That color brown seems to go with everything!
Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!! 🙂
Hi Sam! Thank you, and wishing you and yours a blessed Thanksgiving as well!
Loving your blog that I found via Patti @ not yet dead. I’m confused though, you don’t consider yourself creative? May I say I think you may be selling yourself short with that comment and I believe you’re super creative – your clothing choices and outfits show me that. I think being able to put an outfit together that looks as fabulous as yours do, is an amazing talent. I bet your home is also amazingly well put together! 🙂
Hugs
Hi Wendy! Thank you so much for your visit and your soooo sweet comment!
I really like how you changed it up with the belt and boots, completely two outfits.
PS those heels are to die for.
PSS I did a review today that I think you’ll like, we might have the same type of hair.
Thanks Bella! I just read your review on the Hanna Shine Shield, and if you promise my hair will look like yours, I’m sold!!. Will definitely try it. Need all the help I can get![?]
Both outfits are fabulous – that is a wonderful sweater dress and you look so chic! As Adrienne said, the shoes and bag add perfect touches.

Thank you Patti! Great idea to meet & discover like-minded bloggers out there. My insert/edit link button is grayed out for some reason and will not allow me to insert a link. I’ve emailed tech support for help. I’ve not had this problem before….
Wow! You look fantastic! I like both looks. Those shoes in the first set are beautiful.
And I like your bag. I am a die-hard LV fan….can’t seem to get enough of the stuff.
Happy Turkey Day! xoxo, A
Thanks Adrienne! Those heels are very comfy, too. I am a confessed bagaholic…need therapy! Happy Thanksgiving!!
