Presenting a heather grey, clean lined, structured, traditional, double-breasted, wool-blend coat, worn three ways.
Whew ~ try to say that fast three times. 😀
First, as intended, worn over a simple black dress. Boring! (I’m admiring the heels on these pumps…haha)
Second, as a dress. The front panels pinned together of course ~ wouldn’t want to offend anyone. A little better?
Lastly, over a t-shirt & jeans. My favorite cuz I’m a casual gal at heart! What do ya think? (I’m trying really hard to look cool ~ see?)
Greetings from Tobi and Me! 🙂

and your dog!! so cute:)
Thanks! He is cute, isn’t he?
beauuuutiful shoes!
I love the coat! Such a good staple to have!
Thanks Robyn! Now I need them in brighter colors!
Tobi is so cute 🙂 I liked how you wore this all three outfits. I’m a sucker for a little black dress and I thought that first picture was very chic indeed. I need a grey coat, I only have black – I need a little more colour in my life!

Thanks for the visit. My closet is 80% neutral colors…50% of that being black! I need more colors as well, but I’m always picking up something black. Go figure ~
I like the coat all three ways, my favorite is with jeans. You and tobi look so cute.
Thanks!! Yea…I think Tobi’s cute, too!
Best with the jeans. Very Audrey Hepburn.
Wow…thanks!
OMG! You pull it too well you beat all the “thinny” models out there! I tried to pick which one is my favorite I love them all can’t pick one only I love them all. And like you I like casual wear but it would look classy and elegant just like what you have it here. And yes I like the shoes and the heels it’s a head turner! About wearing sandals with socks I saw that too, and it looks good to tall women but I don’t think if it does do good on me I am only 4″11 I may look like a mushroom walking down the street?! Hahahaha! Thanks for the visit and happy weekend!
You are too funny!!! A mushroom? As my daughter would say ~ LOL! Thank you for the sweet compliment!
You’re so elegant ! These shoes are beautiful !

Thank you so much Christel!!
Love all the ways you wore this coat and the last look is my favorite! It works perfectly with that lovely scarf 🙂
Thanks Katherine! Really enjoyed your recent posts.
First of all, thanks for stopping by and complimenting my daughter (and me)! We get that a lot that we look more like sisters than mother & daughter.
I love this post! It’s great when you can remix an item several ways. That jacket is stunning! I love the scarf and also your casual look. Oh, and the snakeskin heels are to die for. My daughter and I kind of have an obsession with anything animal print 🙂 Your pup is adorable too!
Heather
Hi Heather,
Thanks for your visit. Wish I had thought of mother/daughter blog. Really cool!
Thanks for the inspiring ideas. I too love the background of your house, to die for! xxx
Awe…thanks Jenny! You are so great for my ego!
I do sometimes forget to appreciate where we live. It’s very peaceful, too.
I like it as a dress! It’s so surprising that way! But it also looks fab casual, especially with that gorgeous scarf! (Hello Tobi!)
Thank you! I thought you’d like the doggie post ~
Beautiful outfits! I love the scenery behind you!
Hi Kim,
Thanks! We are truly BLESSED to be living in a beautiful town on the lake surrounded by Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s especially beautiful this time of the year.
